Using Dies to Create a Card

I love when you can use stand alone dies to create a card. Did you know the Zany Zoo Dies can cut out the colorful images from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper (DSP)? If you want to make a quick card or you don’t like to color, then using the Zany Zoo Dies and the coordinating DSP is a fun way to create a card.

The Zany Zoo Dies coordinate with both the Zany Zoo Stamp Set and the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. The dies also have stand alone dies, like the trees and clouds used in this card.

Below is an image of all the dies that come in the Zany Zoo Dies. Each animal in the Zany Zoo Stamp Set are featured on one of the paper designs. So you can either stamp the cute little animal and then die cut it out, or you can skip the stamping and die cut the image from the paper as I did in my card with the skunk.

Below is the image of the Zany Zoo Suite, so if you are the kind of person thats “got to have it all” then you will want this suite.

For the grass I used a blending brush and some ink to color the cardstock to make it look like hills in the background.

So, when you are looking at coordinating dies to a stamp set, see if there are any stand alone dies that you can use on any project. Because using dies to create a card can also be an easy way to make multiple cards.
