DIRECTIONS FOR CARD<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Card Base: <\/b>Lemon Lime Twist cardstock cut to 11″ x 4 1\/4″, score at 5.5″ (top folding card).<\/p>\n

Card Mat:<\/strong> Emerald Envy cardstock cut to 5 3\/8′ x 4 1\/8″, adhere with favorite adhesive to card base.<\/p>\n

Designer Series Paper:<\/strong>\u00a0Cut to 5″ x 3 3\/4″, adhere to card mat. See image for DSP I used. There are other designs in this pack that will also work for this card.<\/p>\n

Layering Circle Framelits:<\/strong> Using third largest circle scallop cut a piece of Emerald Envy cardstock and using third largest circle die cut a piece of watercolor paper. Before you adhere the watercolor paper to the scallop circle you will want to do your stamping and watercoloring. See image above for stamping bird and branch. You can choose to stamp either the bird or branch first.<\/p>\n

Watercoloring:<\/strong> Using the watercolor steps above, use both Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy Stampin’ Write Markers. I also used Peekaboo Peach for the beak. Make sure you are using Memento Tuxedo Black ink for stamping the bird and branch.\u00a0Adhere watercolor paper to scallop die cut after coloring stamped image.<\/p>\n

Sentiment:<\/strong> Stamp sentiment “You’re the kind of friend I’d share my branch with” to a scrap of Soft Sky cardstock; approximately 3 1\/2″ x 1″. Tip: I find that stamping the sentiment first and then trim width to fit sentiment snug. Cut ends into fish tails.<\/p>\n

Last Steps:<\/strong> Using Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere bird and sentiment to center of card; see image above for placement.<\/p>\n

Here is another card I made with all the same pieces as my first card just switching things up. I also decided to add some sequins from the new Tutti-Frutti<\/strong> pack that will be available starting January 3rd.<\/p>\n
