As you get to know my style of card making you’ll find that I like things simple. Quick and easy but pleasing to the eye. With this card I used only one stamp set and three colors, GARDEN GREEN, CHERRY COBBLER and WHISPER WHITE; Super, Simple and Easy…SSE. OK, also known as Clean and Simple, CAS.

Card Base – Garden Green cardstock cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″ and folded in half. This is called a Top Folding Card, which is by far my favorite card fold to use.

Designer Series Paper (DSP) – Cut a piece of “Be Merry” DSP to 3-7/8″ x 4-7/8″. I made sure to use a pattern that was mostly Cherry Cobbler. There were a couple different patterns in the pack that would have worked. I cut a piece of Whisper White just a tad larger than the DSP. I used my every so skilled, eyeball and pencil technique. No measurement needed.

Stamped Image – Cut a 3″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Whisper White (WW) cardstock and then using Cherry Cobbler ink, stamp the “be merry” sentiment. I cut a piece of Garden Green cardstock just a bit larger then the WW, using eyeball and pencil technique.

Embellishments – Garden Green Stitched Satan Ribbon, Linen Thread and Pearl Basic Jewels. I used Stampin’ Dimensional to pop up the stamped image.

I hope you like my SSE…..or CAS, card. Please pin it to your board and share this Christmas card using the Every Good Wish stamp set.

Product List
