Thank You Customer Card-Alcohol Markers

Each month, I send my customers a Thank You card for placing an order with me. I enjoy creating these cards and look forward to mailing them out. This card was fun to make because I love using Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers and I love cards made with colors from the Brights Collection. One of my favorite stamp sets currently, to use with Stampin’ Blends, is Free as a Bird. The three little birds that are perched on the tree limb are just adorable.  Actually, there are 4 birds but I used a die to cut out the 4th bird; see stamp set image below.

Card Measurements and Some Instructions

• Cardbase: Bermuda Bay cardstock cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ – scored at 5 1/2″ (top fold)
• Basic White cut at 2 5/8″ x 4 1/4″
• Designer Series Paper (pattern paper) cut at 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
• Small scrap of Basic White for the Thank You sentiment; die cut using the small frame die from the Stitched So Sweetly die set.
• Bermuda Bay cardstock cut at 3″ x 4″, die cut the frame from Stitched So Sweetly; see image for die used.
• Basic White cardstock cut at 3″ x 4″ – stamp birds and color, then die cut the three birds using the die shown in the card image.

Tip: lay the Basic White large piece on top of your card, then use a pencil to draw lines where you will later adhere the cardstock. The lines will be used for placement when you stamp the leaves. This allows you to see what part of the stamp will be visible or hidden.

As I mentioned above, I love creating cards using the colors in the Brights Collections. With the colors being bright, they evoke a feeling of happy with me. When I receive a card created with colors from the bright family, I can’t help but smile.

Below is a list of products I used to create this fun, bright card. If you would like to purchase any of the products I used, and you live in the US, visit my online store here.

If you liked this card, you might like this card here I also colored with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

Let me know in the comments what your favorite color is. My favorite color, if I had to choose one, would be light teal. The Stampin’ Up! color that matches my favorite color is Coastal Cabana
