Sponge Dauber

Love is in the air when you are using the Love & Happiness Bundle. To soften the brightness of the card, I used a sponge dauber and white ink. I decided not to add white ink to the heart in the center so the heart would stand out a little more.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up both the large heart in the center and the small white heart that I stamped the sentiment on.

After you emboss your cardstock, take a sponge dauber (I like using the finger sponge daubers) and pick up some ink and lightly rub it over the embossed image. You can either use the same ink color as your cardstock, or try a complementary or contrasting color.

For the inside of the card, I used a heart that I die cut, using the Bouquet of Love Hybride Embossing Folder and a sponge dauber to create a faux heart.

Below I share a couple images to show you how I used the heart and a sponge dauber to create the heart for inside of the card, This is a another way you can create your own images using shapes you cut out with dies and punches.

Below is a list of products I used to create this card.
