Simple Card to Say Hello

Sometimes a simple card is all you need to tell someone that you are thinking of them.

For this card I used scraps of paper I had left over from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and stamped a couple poppy flowers and leaves using the Painted Poppies stamp set. To finish off the stamped images, I used the coordinating die set Painted Labels.

As seen in the image below, the coordinating dies not only cut two of the poppy flowers and a couple of leaves, but they also have five dies that are so versatile.

I think Stampin’ Up! hit this set out of the park. Let’s be honest, the dies can stand alone without the stamp set… but, you wouldn’t want to miss out on this stamp set. 🙂

Make sure you save some of your larger Designer Series Paper (DSP) scraps so you can make a simple card with little stamping. Click here, to see another card that uses a small piece of DSP and simple stamping.

Click play below to watched a 38 second video showing all the designs in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. The paper alone can make simple, yet beautiful cards.

After you watch the short clip, comment below with what is your favorite design in this paper pack. I will respond with my favorite. 🙂
