Stampin’ Up! has new dies that just came out this year. The Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies are a must have and a new favorite of mine. You can do so much with this 13 piece set. I have a feeling you will see a lot from me using these dies. I’m sorry…not sorry just happy. 🙂
For my card below I wanted the gorgeous pattern paper from the Share What You Love Designer Series paper pack to shine. So what better way to let it shine then to frame it. I love the new Stampin’ Up color Petal Pink, however, I feel it is more peach than pink which is why I love it so much What do you think? Leave me a comment at the end.
Cutting Dimensions
- Petal Pink cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″; this is your card base. Using one of the largest rectangles cut one side of the card base. Be sure you open your card base so you don’t die cut through both sides.
- Petal Pink cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″; this will be adhered to the inside of the card to cover the back of the Designer Series paper.
- Whisper White cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″; this will be used for inside the card for the sentiment.
- Share What You Love Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″; this will be adhered to the inside of the card showing through the die cut stitched framelit.
Here is an image of how I stamped the inside of the card. Using the stamp set Piece of Cake, I stamped the sentiment and built the cake with three stamps. I used the coordinating Stampin’ Blend marker in Petal Pink.

Below is an image showing all 13 dies that come in the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set. For the card in this post, I used one of the larger frames. You can use whichever size you want depending on how much of the Designer Series Paper will show through. Click on the image below to purchase.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Be sure to see the next card I did that will use the rectangle that was removed, here.
