Three products I have used on this card are NEW and will be available starting January 3rd. The Party Panda stamp set is FREE with any $50 purchase! It comes with 7 stamps.
Here are all the parts you will need to make this non-traditional birthday card. How cute is that little panda bear holding the birthday balloon? So Cute!
Bermuda Bay cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ by 9 1/2″ scored at 5 1/2″; 2″ x 3″ (for label punch)
Berry Burst cardstock cut at 1″ x 4 1/4″
Whisper White cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper cut at 3″ x 4 1/4″
Burry Bust Metallic-Edge Ribbon cut ~4 1/2″
Assembling this card is quite simple. You will need to adhere the sides of the card base to allow enough room for your message tag to slide in and out; see image below.
The next step you want to do is add Berry Burst and Designer Series Paper to the front of the card. Before adding the Berry Burst strip use the small confetti stamp and stamp with Berry Burst ink. This is a great way to add a little texture or your own design. 🙂 Next, stamp the panda on the Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink and use Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the balloon and add a little shading to the panda. Then stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ in Berry Burst. Last, add the pull ribbon by folding the Bermuda Bay label punched from the Every Day Label Punch in half and adhere to the top of the Whisper White cardstock. Using a hole punch make a hole to tie the gorgeous Berry Burst Metallic-Edge ribbon to help pull the cardstock to reveal the message.
Here is another look at the panda and how I used Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker to add a little shading on the Panda and below. I also added a little touch of Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Blends Marker to the cheeks.
In the product list below, the first three items will be available January 3, 2018. And the Party Pandas stamp set is only available FREE with any $50 purchase. Sale ends March 31, 2018.
UPDATE April 24, 2018: Party Panda stamp set is no longer available and DSP will be retired as of May 31, 2018 or possibly sooner. However, this card can be made with any stamp and paper set.
