It is a nice gesture to send a friend a greeting card to let them know you are thinking of them. I make sure to have a few friendship cards on hand ready to be mailed. Making a quick card with simple stamping allows me to batch a few at a time without spending too much time. One way to make a beautiful card is to use Designer Series Paper.
Colors
The colors I used for this card are Pool Party, Granny Apple Green and Basic Black. I pulled these three colors from the design of the paper.
Pattern Paper
One of my favorite Designer Series Paper in this year’s Sale-a-Bration catalog (Jan/Feb 2021) is Flower & Field. Six of the designs are from real canvas paintings so the paper is truly a work of art.
Stamp Set
The sentiment used for this card is from the stamp set So Sentimental. This stamp set has an assortment of sentiments for different occasions.
Products Used
Here is a list of products I used to make this card. One of my favorite dies to use are the Layering Ovals. I also like using the Layering Squares and Layering Circles.
I suggest stamping your sentiment before you use the layering shape dies. This way you can center the sentiment in just the right spot.
