I love coloring with alcohol markers because they do not streak like regular ink markers. You can create card backgrounds using alcohol markers with ease. You do need to make sure you have the right type of paper for alcohol markers. I recommend Neenah Solar White Cardstock.
To create card backgrounds using alcohol markers, first decide what image you want to use. For this card, I used the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I stamped the roses and leaves using Memento Ink Tuxedo Black. This is a great ink to use with alcohol markers. Next I colored the roses and leaves using a variety of alcohol markers. After the images are colored, I used a light blue marker to color the background.
