Am I still stamping?

So… based on my silence here at stephanirogers.com, it’s safe to say I’ve been MIA. Life got busy, creativity felt more like pressure than play, and my craft space? Yeah… it wasn’t really my space. Finding time to create was hard enough, but finding the joy in it again? That was the real struggle.

I found myself spending an hour (or more) trying to design a single card. Not because I loved the process, but because I was trying to create something I thought other people would like. That pressure took all the fun out of it. And when something that used to bring you joy starts to feel like a chore, it’s hard to keep going.

So I stopped.

But here’s the thing—I still love stamping. I still have a soft spot for patterned paper, and I still geek out over a great color combo. I just needed time to reset and reconnect with creating on my own terms.

And during that reset, something new and unexpected came into my life.

I joined Bomb Party.

If you’ve never heard of it, it’s surprise jewelry revealed live on TikTok. Yep, live. It’s fun, sparkly, a little chaotic in the best way, and it’s brought back some of the excitement I’d been missing. It’s helping me find my creative groove again, just in a different way.

And yes, I’m still stamping. I’ve started creating again, especially using up my paper scraps, which feels good. No pressure. No need to be perfect. Just creating because I enjoy it. And I will begin sharing my creativity soon.
